Organic gardening classes

Despite snow and bad weather yet again yesterday, the first of the Wednesday night organic gardening classes started last night. An enthusiastic and good humoured group gathered in the former hostel and spent two delightful hours talking about all things related to growing your own vegetables. Folk were greeted with warm baked scones  and freshly brewed coffee as they settled down to companionably  learning about organic gardening . The tradition of encouraging group participation  and learning from the  combined experience of the group was continued last night producing  some real gems of information ensuring  a great learning experience. The next class will be two weeks from now as the writer (alias me ) is heading off to Wales to immerse herself in a permaculture course for a couple of weeks.
